Why us

Most security firms hand you a report. We hand you a list, and stay until it is done.

Built for businesses with something to lose and nobody whose job this is. Written for the owner, priced for a small business, and back every quarter to check.

The difference

Six things a PDF cannot do

Written for the person who runs the business
Every finding says what is wrong in your terms, “anyone on the wifi can reach the till”, with the technical detail one click away for whoever wants it. You will not need to translate our report.
Steps, not advice
“Improve your patch management” is advice. “Open Settings, then Windows Update, then click Check for updates” is a step. Each one has a time on it, so a spare quarter hour is enough to close something.
Fixed means we checked
You mark a finding done; we verify it on the next visit. The gap between “done” and “verified” is a number on our screen, and we chase it. A report cannot do that.
Priced for a bakery, not a bank
A visit quoted per business, then a flat monthly fee for the portal and the quarterly check. No licences to hold, nothing to install, and no upsell hidden inside the findings.
Works standing at the machine
The iPhone app is the same portal. Tick a step off at the kitchen PC; it saves with no signal and sends when it finds some. Nothing you did is ever lost.
A record an insurer will read
What was open on every day since the first visit, and what was fixed when. That line going down is the thing a cyber insurance renewal wants to see, and you will have it.

The choices a small business actually has

A box of software, the people who keep the computers running, one report, or this. Nobody is named because the pattern is the same everywhere. We are not your IT company and do not want to be; we are the check on it, and we work alongside whoever you already have.

One number

Where you stand, on a dial from 0 to 10

Our rating sets the band. What you have fixed since sets where the needle sits inside it. Tick off the backups finding on a Tuesday night and the number moves on Tuesday night. You do not wait a quarter to see the work land.

It never lies to you either: fixing everything on the list brings a “high” to the bottom of high, not to zero. Only the next visit, when we look at the whole business again, can rate it again.

What we promise

Four things you can hold us to

Four people at a wooden table with laptops, seen from above
The whole business can read the same list, and see the same number.
We say readiness, never compliance.
Readiness against a checklist is a fact we can measure. Whether a business is compliant with HIPAA or PCI is a judgement an auditor makes, and we never claim it.
We never invent a finding.
Every finding traces to something we saw. When the evidence is thin, the finding says so and we check it by hand before you ever see it.
Your data is yours.
The findings, the device list and the record of what was fixed belong to your business. Exported on request, deleted within 30 days of leaving.
A person reads every word.
Scanners and software draft; a person reviews every finding before it reaches you, and a person answers when you ask.

Start with one visit

Tell us about the business and roughly how many computers. We will come back with a price and a date.
